The River Church of the Canyons congregates at Living Water Ranch. “The Ranch” is nestled on twenty nine acres in the center of beautiful San Timoteo Canyon in Riverside County. Located eight miles from Redlands, eight miles from Beaumont, and eight miles from Moreno Valley, the Ranch is literally in the center of the Canyon. We are as in the “middle” of the “middle of know where” as you can get in the Canyon area.

Some would say that it does not make any sense to have a church campus in such a place. That’s the beauty of how God works. It seems He is always doing things “backwards” or “upside down” from a worldly point of view.

The Ranch was purchased in 2003 from a Godly, elderly couple who had prayed for years that the Lord would use the property for ministry. He is doing just that. On the day escrow closed an eighteen year old young man showed up on the property needing food, shelter, and guidance. Gods’ work at The River Church of the Canyons began.

In October of 2004 a small Sunday morning Bible study was started at the urging of Christian friends. Five people attended. Though small, we are watching in awe as God is slowly doing a wonderful work in grace and love at The River Church of the Canyons. “Adding to the church daily” as He sees fit. It is Gods church and He will do with it as He pleases. We have no desire to build a church. That is up to our Father. We simply want to know God and act in immediate obedience to His desires.

We believe that a brother who recently spent some time on the ranch summed it up perfectly when he said: “I have never been loved like I have been loved since coming here!” Jesus said: “The world would know we where His disciples by our love for one another.” It is our hope that all who come to The River Church of the Canyons will be able to say: “I have never been loved like I have since coming here!”
