Welcome to The River Church of the Canyons web site. Our desire at The River Church is to: ‘Know God!’ A very simple statement yet so profound. We believe that the closer we draw  to our Father, the better we will know Him. If we know Him we will know His heart, and if we know His heart, we will know His perfect will and those things which He desires to accomplish. In essence; He rids us of our selfish desires and ambitions, and replaces them with His perfect desire for our life. Jesus said: “I always do those things which please the Father!” Thus, all good things flow from knowing the Father. i.e. loving each other and others, evangelism, giving to those in need, Bible study, worship, etc.. So we do not put the emphasis on any particular task or command. But in knowing God! It is our desire at the River Church of The Canyons that you will draw closer to Him and know Him more.
